International Community Church (Apex + Holly Springs): Non denominational church serving the Cary, Apex and Morrisville communities with a Sunday English service that includes songs in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati, a fellowship meal and Sunday school. NC Tamil Christian Fellowship (Cary + Morrisville): Tamil language Christian fellowship that meets in person on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 5:30 PM for worship, with dinner served, plus kids, youth and young adult programs. RTP Tamil Catholic Association (Durham + Chapel Hill): Association of Tamil Catholics in the Research Triangle that celebrates Tamil Mass on the third Sunday of every month at 6 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the address given, and runs retreats and a Vacation Bible School. Temple
Radha Krishna Temple of North Carolina (Apex + Holly Springs): Hindu temple in Apex with daily darshan and a weekly program of pujas, pooja booking, and classes and camps for children and youth. BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Raleigh (Cary + Morrisville): Hindu mandir in the Swaminarayan tradition that invites visitors to prayer ceremonies, festivals and activities, with posted daily darshan, abhishek and arti hours. Jain Study Center of North Carolina (Cary + Morrisville): Non profit religious organization based in Raleigh and Cary serving Jain families around the Triangle with spiritual, cultural and social programs, including a Pathshala. Darshan is at the temple at the Hindu Center of NC at the address given; the official mailing address is PO Box 146, Morrisville, NC 27560. Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of North Carolina (Cary + Morrisville): Vedanta center following Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. Open daily for night aarti at 7 p.m. (its Visit Us page says 7 to 7:30 p.m. when no visiting Swamiji is present). Sri Venkateswara Temple of North Carolina (Cary + Morrisville): Hindu temple in Cary with a published daily schedule of abhishekams and pujas, posted temple timings and online forms to request a puja or donate. The Hindu Society of North Carolina (HSNC) (Cary + Morrisville): Hindu temple and cultural organization in Morrisville that hosts religious ceremonies, festivals such as Navratri and Diwali, and Sunday Sanskar Gurukul classes for grades 1 to 12. ISKCON New Goloka (Durham + Chapel Hill): ISKCON temple and Hare Krishna bhakti yoga center with weekly Sunday programs, Vedic education classes, a full time school called BKG Academy and a new temple under construction. Bengali Association of North Carolina (BANC) (Cary + Morrisville): Bengali cultural association for the Triangle that organizes Saraswati Puja, Dol Purnima, Noboborsho, Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti, an annual picnic and Durga Puja, and runs a Robibar Bangla School. Carolina Tamil Sangam (Cary + Morrisville): Nonprofit that preserves and promotes Tamil language, culture and traditions across the Carolinas through cultural celebrations, educational initiatives and community events. Chinmaya Mission RDU (Cary + Morrisville): Local chapter of Chinmaya Mission offering Sunday Bala Vihar classes for children, adult classes, a Hindi language class and Gita chanting. Its site says bhajans are held weekly at the Hindu Society of North Carolina on Sundays from 5 to 6 pm, which is the address given. Triangle United Telugu Association (TUTA) (Cary + Morrisville): Non profit established in 2016 to serve Telugu speaking communities of Andhra and Telangana in the Research Triangle Park area, with a Telugu school, Annadatha food service and a community help line. Sangam at UNC Chapel Hill (Durham + Chapel Hill): UNC student South Asian association that works to raise awareness of South Asian culture among members, the campus and the greater Chapel Hill community, and does service through the Mahatma Gandhi Foundation. EKTAA, South Asian Student Association at NC State (Raleigh): South Asian student organization at NC State founded in 1970 that works to spread the culture and heritage of South Asia on campus and in the local community, and collaborates with South Asian organizations at nearby universities.
